All upholstered pieces are finished with a co-ordinated stud, braid, piping or hand made cords.
Stud upholstery nail trim; these are fancy upholstery nails that are fixed in strips. Real nails (fixing nails) are applied at intervals to fix the strip.
Piping; piping is an upholstery trim applied at the end of a job on the edge of the furniture frame. Single piping is most often used for cushions, scrolls or finishing off edges. Double piping is used to finish off edges as an alternative to braid or gimp (a form of flat braid).
Braid; used for many years, braid can be bent around round curves and corners and always finishes a piece of upholstered furniture in style.
